Produced by Taste Festivals, Taste of Athens is part of a worldwide network of more than 20 events hosted in cities such as London, Paris, Milan, Dubai and many more.
Taste of Athens, for the third time, brings together the city’s best restaurants, food and drink brands and invites its guests to discover them through immersive experiences.

When and where is Taste of Athens taking place?
The Festival will take place from July 7 until July 10 2022 at the Zappeion Megaron.
What are the event opening times?
The Festival will take place from July 7 until July 10 2022.
On Thursday July 7th and Friday July 8th, the doors open for the dinner slot: 19:00 to 23:00.
For the weekend, Taste of Athens will be open for 2 slots per day: lunch from 12:00 to 16:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 23:00.
Can I arrive early before my session or stay on site after my session?
No, visitors are only permitted to be at the event’s location during the times listed on their ticket.
How much is the ticket and what does it include?
There are different types of tickets to match your needs, starting from 8€.

How much do the restaurants’ dishes cost?
The dishes at Taste of Athens cost 3€, 6€ or 9€, although restaurants are also offered the possibility to present a Taste signature dish, at 12€.
Where can I buy my tickets for the event?
Which are the payment methods within the event?
Taste of Athens is is cashless. Food and drinks from Taste of Athens restaurants and bars can be purchased by contactless transactions, with the use of any of your credit / debit cards.
Tickets at the entrance of the Festival can be purchased both in cash and in credit / debit card.
Do children under 6 require a ticket to attend?
The entrance is free for children under 6 years old, if accompanied by a paying adult. Proof of age may be required.
Do I have to print my ticket?
You may have your ticket either in print or in an electronic form.
I have a ticket but I cannot attend the event. Can I give it to someone else?
Yes, you may pass your ticket to someone else, without any other obligation. We hope we see you next year!
How can I get to the festival?
Zappeion Megaron is located at the crossing of Vasilissis Olgas Avenue with Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, next to the National Garden of Athens and within walking distance from Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament building. Access via the public transport is easy for the visitor. You may get to Zappeion by metro (Syntagma station), by tram (Syntagma Station) or by buses and trolleybuses from different Athens districts.

Is Taste of Athens accessible for disabled guests?
Taste of Athens is fully accessible by disabled guests, people with reduced mobility and strollers.
Are there any age limits?
No, people of all ages are welcome at Taste of Athens!
Can I bring my own food and/or drink?
The yummiest food and most refreshing drinks are waiting for you at Taste of Athens! Thus, no food or alcoholic drink is permitted into the site premises, except bottled water of course. Bag searches will be in operation at the event’s entrance and any food or alcoholic drinks will be retained.
Is parking available at the event’s location?
There is no parking space for the festival guests.
Are pets allowed?
Only guide dogs are permitted on site.
Is there free Wi-Fi at the event?
Yes, free public Wi-Fi is available at Zappeion Megaron.
Is there a cloakroom facility?
No, the event does not provide any cloakroom.
Will the event be affected by unfortunate weather circumstances?
We will take all necessary measures for the event to run under all weather conditions, unless advised otherwise by the local authorities.
What security measures are in place for Taste of Athens?
We place the utmost importance on security and we have the appropriate levels of cover in place, following liaison with the police and authorities. Nevertheless, we ask you to remain vigilant, not leave any belongings unattended, not bring large bags to the event and allow additional time for security checks before entering Taste of Athens.
What measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are in place?
We follow all the measures and health protocols imposed by the current legislation. The official directions are to be respected from the partner restaurants and exhibitors, and from the event visitors.
Does Taste of Athens embrace any corporate social responsibility action?
In an effort to raise awareness and act in an environmentally responsible way, Taste of Athens provides different types of recycling bins to dispose recyclable items, while the cutlery we use is made of recyclable material. Furthermore, the Festival collaborates with the non-profit organization “Boroume” whose mission is to reduce food waste and increase donated food in Greece.
